Short answer. For Red Chat Ritual, an article on haveagood-holiday.com about the game's announcement, published 11 April 2026, says the theme song is performed by Kagura Mea, with lyrics and composition by Kikuo [S1]. Anime Trending (9 April 2026) gives the song's title as "Oshi Oshi Oshi Oshi Oshi Oshi Oshi Oshi Kane Kane Kane Kane Kane Kane Kane Kane" [S2]. On 19 August 2026 the developer said its official music video had passed 1 million views on YouTube [S4].

What is the theme song called?

Anime Trending's article of 9 April 2026 names the song with the title above and says its music video was out, performed by independent VTuber Kagura Mea [S2].

Players use the same words as a joke. In a Steam forum thread about the game's YouTube ad, Yuki posted "oshi oshi oshi oshi kane kane kane kane" on 12 July 2026 [S10]. That post is not a source for the title; the title comes from Anime Trending [S2].

Who wrote it and who sings it?

Each credit below comes from a third-party article, and the table gives one row per source.

Music for the game"brand-new original music written for the game by Kikuo"[S3]
Vocaloid versionAnime Trending says Kikuo has released a Vocaloid version of the theme song[S2]

The developer's own Steam text is quieter. In the store text and the announcements saved on 21 October 2026, a text search finds Kikuo named once, in the Kickstarter update of 7 August 2026, as the person who hand-signs a limited reward [S5].

A streamer gives the same names. Isla Coleman Ch., in the video "CUTE GIRLS DOING MYSTERIOUS THINGS...?" (16 July 2026), says at [146:40] that the song was "produced by Vocaloid producer Kiku and then it was sang by VTuber Kaguramea" (names spelled as the auto captions give them) [S7]. The same streamer says at [12:30] that they found out about the game from the song [S7].

Is there an official music video?

The haveagood-holiday.com article says a theme song music video "was premiered at 12:00 PM on the day of announcement" and links it on YouTube (no time zone is given) [S1]. The link it gives is youtu.be/4G5O59-vlCU [S1].

On 19 August 2026 the developer posted on Steam: "The official music video for TSUMIMITIME has surpassed 1 million views on YouTube!" [S4]

Reactions differ. On the Steam forum on 2 July 2026, DoReMixD asked "Is it as annoying as the song that plays on its store page video?" and Main answered "yes most annoying song of all time" on the same day [S10]. In the other direction, the Isla Coleman Ch. streamer calls the theme song "such a banger" at [146:27] in the same video [S7].

Is the song in the demo?

Three players describe the end of the demo. Each report is about the demo build on the date it was made, and none says which build it was.

  • Lawenda wrote on 28 June 2026, in the Demo feedback thread, that a tip about a bug let them finish and that they "heard the awesome cover song" [S9].
  • Isla Coleman Ch. (video of 16 July 2026) says at [14:47] "I don't know if it'll play today on the demo" and at [145:54] "This is the theme song I was talking about" [S7].
  • Rem Inverse, in the video "Chat to save your oshi!" (11 October 2026), reaches the end of the demo; at [183:59] the streamer says "this is a Kikuo song" and at [184:38] calls it a cover [S8].

Taken together, two demo players call the closing song a cover [S9][S8], and one says it is a Kikuo song [S8].

For what the demo covers, see how to play.

Is there a soundtrack?

The Kickstarter update of 7 August 2026 lists music among the aims of the Global Edition campaign: "richer music and foley" [S5]. Among the backer rewards it lists "A seven-track early digital OST, with a free upgrade to the full fifteen-track Steam OST after release" [S5]. A further reward is "A shikishi autograph board hand-signed by Kikuo, limited to three backers worldwide" [S5].

The soundtrack details come from the developer's post alone [S5].

Can I use the music in a stream or video?

The developer's Streaming and Content Guidelines (14 October 2026) say "You may upload videos and livestream any part of the game, including its endings" [S6]. Under prohibited content they list "Extracting or modifying audio assets from the game, such as sound effects, voice recordings, background music, or included songs, and publishing them on their own" [S6]. The guidelines state that the Japanese version takes precedence over other languages if they differ [S6].

Where to go next

The game releases on Steam on 22 October 2026 [S11]; the details are on release date and price. Who Tsumimi is, and the rest of the cast, is covered on characters.
